Prevents double bookings
Core requests only free/busy intervals from explicitly selected calendars and removes busy periods from available booking slots.
Canguro Core brings together Canguro advertising, forms, bookings, pipelines, and automated follow-up. Google Calendar is an optional integration that remains off until an authorized user enables it.
When the integration is enabled, the clinic or an authorized Canguro operator separately selects which Google calendars may be read for availability and which writable calendar may receive appointment events.
Core requests only free/busy intervals from explicitly selected calendars and removes busy periods from available booking slots.
Core creates the appointment in the selected write calendar, moves the same event when rescheduled, and removes it when cancelled. The lead can be invited by email.
Calendars explicitly configured for online meetings receive a unique Google Meet link. The link is used in confirmations and reminders. Physical appointments receive regular calendar events without Meet.
Self-service lets the clinic connect its own Google account. Agency-managed mode is used when a clinic shares a calendar with Canguro. In that mode, clinic users cannot see or manage Canguro's Google account, email address, calendar list, or calendar IDs.
Core uses the Google account email, calendar-list names, IDs, and access roles, free/busy from selected read calendars, and the event and Meet data required for Core-created appointments. Full event content from read calendars is not retrieved or stored. OAuth tokens are encrypted and a short-lived busy cache is used for availability.
